Presentation

TIME Foundation is a non-governmental not-for-profit Bulgarian organization. Created in 1994, TIME is the abbreviation for « This Is My Environment » and proceeds from a previously established team of people working on issues related to environment and sustainable development in Bulgaria.

TIME Foundation tries to address the needs of Bulgarian people concerning these two subjects. One its main goal is therefore environmental education, be it for children, public opinion or local leaders (industrials and representatives). It also focuses on supporting environmental and sustainable development policies in Bulgaria, in particular the development of local Actions Plans and Agendas 21. Finally, TIME Foundation more generally promotes environmental and sustainable development actions all around Bulgaria, for example by providing financial and technical support for local authorities, NGOs and even companies.
