Presentation

The UNCPIE is in charge of the label CPIE (permanent centre for environmental initiatives) which is granted to environmental associations involved in sustainable development at local level.

All CPIE’s are joined in the UNCPIE, which ensures networking among the 80 local entities.

More information and direct links with the 80 CPIE’s on www.cpie.fr

The CPIE’s network shares different values: humanistic management of environment, promotion and concern for the citizenship, respect of scientific knowledge. The CPIE’s actions combine three types of interventions: searching, developing and transferring.

CPIE are partners for every local structure in charge (local communities professionals) working on:

- Environmental education for a sustainable development (consciousness raising, information, education and training)

- Land coaching for a sustainable development (project management, territorial talks...)

At the national level, UNCPIE is a centre of information, which can help and support CPIE actions. The CPIE network is represented by UNCPIE in national organizations.
