The Agency for the development of the Prlekija’s region (12 municipalities, 56.000 inhabitants), was established by 4 municipalities and local Chamber of Crafts. Aside from its work in this precise region, it is also involved in a lot of international projects, mainly on the European scale.
Development of SMEs: start up consulting for SMEs, registration of SMEs, help with government subventions, business plans, investing plans, providing information for SMEs
Rural development: generating and implementing rural development program for our region, help with sustainable rural development, ecology programs, restructuring of conventional farming into sustainable and environmental friendly farming
Service for municipalities: generating and implementing the regional development program, counselling in development directions, training of officials
